Who is responsible

Comparison lists

Your comparison list is stored in your browser (local storage) on your device. It is not sent to us unless you open a comparison page, and then only the school identifiers in the page address. Clear your browser data to remove it.

Forms and enquiries

When you list a school, claim a profile, report a correction, contact us, ask about advertising or enquire about a school, we store what you enter to review and answer it. For enquiries we ask only for an adult’s name, e-mail, an optional phone number, country of residence, intended entry year, a broad age group for the student and your message. Please do not give us a child’s name, birth date, health information or identity documents; we do not ask for them. Records are kept as long as needed for the purpose and in any case no longer than two years after the matter is closed, unless law requires otherwise.

Direct delivery of enquiries to schools is not switched on. An enquiry form addressed to a school is stored as a message to World Language Schools only, and nothing is forwarded to the school; the form says so before you send it. If delivery is switched on later, it will happen only with your explicit consent, naming the school, and this page will be updated. We do not sell your details. An enquiry is not an application.

Anonymous counts

We count page and click events (for example sponsored impressions and outbound clicks) using a daily rotating hash of network address and browser type, so individual visitors are not identifiable across days. Raw IP addresses are used only for rate limiting and spam defence. Bots are excluded.

Cookies and analytics

This site currently sets no cookies and loads no third-party analytics or advertising scripts. If that changes, a consent choice will be offered first and this page updated.

Fonts are served from this site, not from a third party. Outbound links go to schools, authorities and other sites with their own policies. School logos, where shown, are copies stored on this site.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict processing, by e-mailing us. If you are in the EU/EEA, the UK or Switzerland you may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Representatives of schools

If you claim a profile we store your work contact details and how your identity was verified, to keep an audit trail of who can request changes.
