Best Schools for Learning French: a Researched, Unranked Shortlist

An unranked shortlist of schools teaching French whose course facts, prices and accreditation records can be checked against official sources.

There is no single best language school. This page is not a league table: schools are not numbered or scored, they are listed alphabetically within each group, and no school paid to be included. Read the criteria and limitations before you rely on it.

What was considered

Schools with a published campus teaching French, in every destination researched so far.

Selection criteria

A campus is listed only if it meets all of these:

The campus or online offering is confirmed on the school’s own page, and that page still contains the quoted statement when we re-check it.
At least one course publishes its lessons per week together with the lesson length (or the school’s own hours per week).
At least one tuition price is published with its currency, billing basis and year.
Start dates or a schedule are published for at least one course.
An accreditation, registration or membership record is linked (it is labelled as confirmed on a record or stated by the school).

Limitations

“Best” depends on the student, so this page does not rank schools or claim any school is objectively the best. The shortlist reflects only how fully a school’s key course facts can be checked; it says nothing about teaching quality, student results, exam pass rates or fit. Schools are listed alphabetically within each group. Sponsorship and school-submitted information cannot add a school or change the order. Coverage of our research is incomplete, so a school missing here may simply not be researched yet. No exam results, ratings or student reviews are used.

Independence

Sponsorship and school submissions never buy inclusion in, or the order of, a researched selection. Sponsored placements elsewhere on the site are labelled.
